INSTRUCTION MANUAL EN
The product you have purchased conforms to the global
standards. It is a result of a combination of first-class materials,
high technology, and skills of highly experienced experts.
18/10 Cr-Ni stainless steel is the most commonly used type of
stainless steel and one of the most hygienic materials used
globally. Observing the following basic instructions will allow you
to use your cookware with maximum efficiency.
Recommendations:
Before first use, remove all packaging and labels from the
cookware. Wash the pans in a dishwasher or manually, using
washing-up liquid and warm water; then, wipe it dry.
During cooking
Make sure the pan bottom corresponds to the diameter of the
heating surface, i.e. a cooking zone or the burner flame. If the pan
is too large relative to the heating surface, cooking time will be
longer; if it is too small, the outside of the pan may turn dark due
to excessive temperature.
Do not open the lid too often during cooking, as this results in
losses of liquid and heat.
When cooking liquid or highly juicy dishes, add a tablespoon of
water every time you open the lid.
Useful life of stainless steel cookware will be shorter if you leave
it empty on an operating heating surface.
Useful tips for cooking delicious and healthy food
1. Juices: the juices in the food contain vitamins and other
valuable ingredients that are vital to the flavour of the dish.
For the best quality of food, do not use oil or water for
cooking. Food cooked in this way will be tastier if served with
the juices left in the pan.
2. Suitable pan size: before cooking, select the cookware
depending on the amount of food to be cooked. Make sure
the food does not reach higher than 2/3 of the total pan
height.
3. Cooking time: when your food comes to a boil, reduce the
heat or power of your cooking hob. If possible, do not open
the lid to retain the juices in the food and cook it in a healthy
manner.
4. Energy saving tip: when the food comes to a boil, reduce the
power of your hob. A few minutes before the end of the
cooking process, switch off the cooking hob. The food will
be cooked using the heat absorbed in the pan bottom.
Useful tips for cleaning and care:
1. Correct maintenance of your cookware: after each use,
wash the cookware in a dishwasher or manually. When
washing up, do not use metal brushes or abrasive objects
as these may cause scratches on the cookware. After
washing up, wipe the cookware dry to a high sheen using a
dry cloth.
2. Before cleaning, wait for the pans to cool down completely.
3. Washing cookware with plastic handles in a dishwasher
may, through the years, cause the handles to discolour.
This, however, does not affect the quality or use of the
handles. When washing cookware in a dishwasher, only use
products intended for dishwashing, in the amounts specified
in the relevant instructions. Do not use highly concentrated
industrial cleaners. When washing the dishes manually, use
warm water with some washing up detergent, a soft sponge
or a soft brush. Never use metal brushes or abrasive objects
or cleaners. For stubborn dirt on inside or outside of the
cookware, use the coarse side of the dishwashing sponge.
4. Do not allow the food residues to dry on the cookware.
5. Tip for care of cookware with special coating: to ensure a
long product useful life, we recommend washing the
cookware with hot water, washing up liquid, and a soft cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaners or abrasive objects.
6. Special tips for cooking in stainless steel cookware: do not
keep the food in the pan for a long period of time, as this
may cause changes on the stainless steel surface. To keep
the stainless steel surface in mint condition, we recommend
using cleaners by Gorenje or other manufacturers.
